These images are a selection from 'Tender Wounds', an ongoing, 8 year spanning project, exploring the metamorphosis of coming of age, love, loss, community and the relationships which form it. As someone who lost their mother at a very young age, creating this sense of chosen family was essential - under the surface of the images is a sincere appreciation for the delicate and fleeting nature of our existence. As a film graduate, the world of cinema has had a deep impact on the project.
